This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Chris-
it's really quite simple, if you have any knowledge of layering prints and can register the print straight you're set. Some tips I have:
-use new, sharp tools for the best detail. A V guage, U-shape guage and flat blade are most useful and all you need, really.
-use fresh linoleum. I order mine from dickblick.com, (battleship grey variety) and it's great!
-with colors, sometimes it's easiest to just work with a mono-chromatic pallette (yellow, gold, brown etc).
-more than 5 layers of color tend to get too thick on the paper, and won't print as well. I wouldn't recommend printing more than 5 colors.
-work light to dark, printing the lightest color first, then successively darker.
-just treat it like a drawing, and have fun!
I hope this helps you out. if you have any questions, drop me a note. good luck with your project!
heeeey chris!
